Berreta Apx 9mm - The Beretta APX was one of the handguns from the "Modular Handgun System" selection process in which the Americans looked for a successor to their service pistol at the time, the Beretta 92 FS aka M9. Through the "Modular Handgun System" selection process, the pistol world was served in a short time of new pistols with good and thoroughly tested engines - one of them is the APX. Technically, it has nothing in common with the 92, which is an all-metal design with a drop-down locking system and a hybrid single/double action.

On the other hand, the APX is a gun with a polymer frame, characterized by the firing system of this type of gun, complete with bullet safety and safety drop. And, of course, the train stuck in front of the trigger guard - which now seems inevitable - did not disappear. Although this sounds like "Oh, it's just a plastic gun", the APX is distinguished by external details that make it stand out from other polymer-framed guns, simply because of the front and rear diameter slide. Using a modified Browning locking system, the APX has a similar construction to the SIG Sauer P250 DCc and, of course, the P320 from the same company. And what makes this gun stand out is what it is rated for.
The rear and front sights are made of steel, both sides are adjustable. The rear sight follows the Novak LoMount design.
Even before the evaluation points are added, it is clear that the APX will get full marks for its outstanding frame design. The combination of a low barrel axis and a heavy slide, as well as an ingenious design with a slightly narrower rear handle, the structure of its handle and finger groove provided for its superior characteristics . By the way, the optical characteristics are better than the fingers that actually feel them (-0 points). It is also aced in the cycling / safety test section, as the gun worked with wonderful reliability with all types of cartridge it is offered (-0 P.). Unclear and comfortable controls are too good (-0 P.).

The criticism, however, is at the level of the impact, firstly because it is quite difficult (although still within normal limits) and secondly because it is dragging on long (-2 P.). The steel three-dot sights are desirable because students can quickly capture targets through them and enjoy high definition images. But the rear and front views lose one point (-1 P.) due to the lack of height adjustment. And when it comes to craftsmanship, the three pieces currently examined all show minor flaws, whether it's a crack in the hand, an impure surface finish or an accessory that doesn't run perfectly straight: here, it just doesn't. Every last detail has been cleanly finished (-3 P.) The precision part is also mentioned - here the Beretta APX with empty ammo with the PPU jacket has its highest target group with a diameter of ' 2.4 "/ 61 mm satisfied (-12 P.) .
The Beretta APX is captured with a first-class grip frame design and a low barrel axis - testers also liked the fact that the gun is well suited to putting rapid fire on targets at range short. The device is at a high level for the class with a polymer frame. The Beretta APX ships in a plastic case in Henry Ford's favorite color, complete with a multilingual instruction manual, pistol lock, two 17-round magazines with loader, two interchangeable backstraps and cleaning brush.
